Ruben Young is a soulful singer and songwriter, best known for his song “Rachel Green” with Hodgybeats from Odd Future. He has a raspy timbre and modern soul- crooner vibe breathes influence from Marvin Gaye, Anderson Paak, and Amy Winehouse. Over the years, Ruben has released singles and cover songs via music videos on youtube. He has generated millions of streams via Youtube, Apple and Spotify. In 2018, he spent traveling across North America discovering his voice and writing over 100 songs. It is from this journey that Ruben created his 2019 debut EP “Dreamstate”.
