He began his career in the early 2010s, gaining attention with mixtapes and singles like Hilltop Anthem, Feelings (a song with a sample from “No One” by Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys), In My Zone (one of the most predominant songs in his catalog), Rookie of the Year, and Do Not Disturb.
