Rsieh-Raxan Mashua Gibson (born September 21, 2003), known professionally as Rsieh Raxan (also known as Gibby Capriano), is an American rapper and singer-songwriter, residing from Los Angeles, California.

Rsieh started uploading music through his SoundCloud page as early as 2020. After releasing a wide variety of projects and singles, Rsieh started to get some attraction in October 2022, with the track “Crash It!” Since his newfound success in the underground scene, Rsieh released three projects within the year.

Entering into 2023, Rsieh would get more attention through the public eye, thanks to the standout single, “head 2 toe,” released on May 9 of that year. With his new sound resembling back to R&B in the early 2000’s, transitioning himself from being a rapper, Rsieh gained a wide variety of attention, thanks to his nonstop promotion through his TikTok page.

Since the song’s release and newfound success, he has since continued to share his new sound through TikTok, alongside sharing fans a taste of what is likely to be a new direction in his music, thanks to it’s follow-up single, “some help,” which released a month later.

After continuing to share his newer sound through TikTok, on August 19, 2023, Rsieh released his third EP, titled Call Me Up, consisting of three new tracks. Then on September 8, 2023, as a surprise release, Rsieh released his third mixtape, alter ego. In an Instagram statement, Rsieh announced that alter ego would be the final project that would involve him rapping, as he has now transitioned into the newer sound he had previously been teasing.

After much anticipated waiting, on September 21, 2023, on the day of Rsieh’s birthday, he released his self-titled debut studio album, Rsieh Raxan. Capping off the year, Rsieh would release his next breakout single, “Girl of My Dreams,” to which it immediately gained attention through social media, primarily TikTok.

Entering into 2024, Rsieh would continue his streak into his new sound with a two-track EP titled from me 2 u, released on January 16.
