Rotting Out is a hardcore punk band with a metallic sound from the San Pedro community of Los Angeles in California. Rotting Out was started in 2007 using the scraps from their previous band Dogpile. Band members include lead singer Walter Delgado, guitarists Carlos Morales and Alfredo Dario Pedrozo, bassist Benjamin Ruiz, and drummer Jorge Cabrera. Between 2015 to 2018, the band disbanded owing to a combination of creative disputes and the imprisonment of lead singer Delgado for marijuana smuggling. They resumed performing in 2018, initially exclusively at the Sound And Fury and This Is Hardcore festivals before embarking on full-fledged tours once more.
