Born in Salisbury, UK in 1984, Ross Jennings is the lead vocalist and co-songwriter of the progressive metal band HAKEN and vocalist of Novena.

He began his musical career as the rhythm guitarist in his high school band Lost Child and then went on to form Redados, a local band with some friends from Surrey.

He would then go on to reconnect with his school friends after completing his studies to record Haken’s early demos in 2007 and went on to record many albums with Haken to critical acclaim.

As of recently he has produced solo material in the form of 2021’s “A Shadow of my Future Self,” departing from the progressive metal he’s known for, for a more radio-friendly, MTV-era rock aesthetic.
