Ron Underwood is best known for being the vocalist of industrial metal/post-hardcore band Opiate for the Masses from it’s start in 1999 to its breakup in 2009. Shortly before Opiate for the Masses, he was in a funk metal band called 5 on 1, in which he used the moniker “MC Ronaldo.” For a brief while after Opiate for the Masses broke up, Underwood was the vocalist and programmer in Beezlewood, an electronic/alternative band from LA. From 2010-2020, Underwood fronted 9ELECTRIC and went by the nickname “Ron Thunderwood,” or simply “Thunderwood”. Underwood is also a director
