Romel is a MC from Umag, Croatia and part of the rap group KUGA with Fenksta (and formerly Shele).

His artist name derives from Dr. Dre’s middle name (sans the double L), who he lists as his favorite artist of all time. He started his music career in 2008, by forming the group KUGA with Fenksta and Shele and releasing the song “Serijski”.

While his style comes from a mix of Dr. Dre’s old-school and the swang of the Dirrty South, his newest song “Idemo Sad” approaches a more modern sound, which is present in today’s Hip Hop era of the Balkans.
