About Roddy Frame

Roddy Frame is a Scottish singer, songwriter and musician. He was born in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, Scotland on January 29, 1964.

Frame rose to fame as the singer, songwriter and only consistent member of Aztec Camera, a new wave band from the 1980s. The band released a total of 6 studio albums, 6 compilation albums and one EP. Their biggest hits include Oblivious, Somewhere in My Heart and Good Morning Britain.

Following the dissolution of Aztec Camera in 1995, Frame has released another 4 studio albums and two live albums under his own name. The 2002 album “Surf” is notable as being recorded entirely in his own living room, featuring only Frame singing with his acoustic guitar.
