Rocky Rivera (born Krishtine de Leon) is a Filipina-American rapper currently based in San Francisco, CA. She frequently tackles industry sexism, colorism, police brutality and other forms of systematic oppression in her lyrics.
Prior to pursuing music full-time, Rivera majored in journalism at San Francisco State University, and interviewed the likes of Wu-Tang Clan and DMX for publications including Rolling Stone, The Source and XXL.
