From the mind of singer, songwriter, producer, and creative director Eddie Sears comes genre-blending phenomenon Rocket Pengwin – the story of a penguin that moved to New York City from Antarctica, trying to find a way to make his dream of becoming a pop-punk rockstar a reality.

Rocket Pengwin captivated New York at the start of 2020 when the totem to the project, a five foot tall penguin, was caught on its morning commute by Subway Creatures, where the sighting gained tens of millions of views within days. CBS New York even fell in love with the penguin, and introduced him to millions more New Yorkers on air during the same week as the project’s debut single release.

Through his debut EP (Planet Earth, Ultra Records), a live performance for Sofi Tukker’s Twitch channel that took the internet by storm, a star-studded showcase with Live Nation, and becoming the first artist in history to perform on top of One Times Square, Rocket Pengwin’s cult status amongst New Yorkers and fans across the world continues to take flight.
