Robert Ivory, born December 22, 1999, is an artist from Cleveland, Ohio. His sound is a unique blend and has influences of R&B, soul and hip-hop. He made a significant breakthrough in his music career after being discovered by Logic via Discord, which lead to Ivory being featured on the highly anticipated album Ultra 85. Ivory then released his debut EP, Stranded, as well as a covers project in 2024. Then in early January 2025, Ivory released his debut full-length project, Wasted Talent On Type Beats.

11/5/2024 I started with nothing but a dream and a microphone, not knowing how far it would take me. I locked myself in my bedroom studio for months, hoping to create something so undeniable that it would lift me out of the situation I had put myself in. Out of the last 674 days, I’ve only spent 39 days outside my house. Even though I had never made a song before December 29, 2022, I knew this was my only way out. While at my rock bottom, I sacrificed my social life, well-being, and finances, leaving me with nowhere to look but within. Looking back, I can see how much I’ve grown not just as a musician but as a human being. I had to be my own friend, therapist, and coach to make it out with my mind intact, and I am proud of the artist that I have become.
