Born in none other than Houston, Texas, Robert Earl Keen is an American singer-songwriter known for his storytelling. REK has produced 18 full-length albums in his career and was inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012 alongside friends Lyle Lovett and the late Townes Van Zandt. His charm, songwriting, and respect amongst the greats of the Americana and Outlaw Country communities have cemented his name as one of the many remarkable Texas songwriters.
