About Richard H. Kirk

Richard Harold Kirk [21st March 1956-21st September 2021] was an electronic musician who was a member of Sheffield industrial band Cabaret Voltaire as well as a solo artist. In addition to his own name, Kirk released his solo work under a number of pseudonyms, such as Sandoz, Al Jabr, and Electronic Eye. Kirk recorded his first solo projects while with Cabaret Voltaire and continued writing and recording up until his death.
In 2020, 26 years after any new music had been released under the Cabaret Voltaire name, Kirk revived the project to release “Shadow Of Fear”, “Dekadrone”, and “BN9Drone”.
