About Rhubarb

Rhubarb was an Australian rock band formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 1996. They released 3 albums between 1999 and 2005. These were:
- ‘Kamikazee’ [1999]
- ‘Slow Motion’ [2002]
- ‘Start Again’ [2005]
Despite their song ‘Exerciser’ placing at No. 20 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 1999, and The Australian and The Courier-Mail both listing their album ‘Slow Motion’ in their Top 10 Albums For 2002, Rhubarb did not find much commercial success. Sadly, the members of Rhubarb disbanded in 2006, citing that they lacked the “enthusiasm to keep spending our time and money on what is essentially a pretty self-serving venture.”
