Bursting out of New York City’s lower east side, ReyLovesU is an underground R&B singer/songwriter and producer. Born to two parents from the Dominican Republic, his sound combines the soulful music of his upbringing with the urban sonics of the city where he grew up singing on the streets for spare change.

Describing his inspiration as “Underground Heartbreak”, Rey’s songs bring a new lifeblood to well worn R&B themes of passion and love. His first song to receive major attention was 2018’s “Apology To My Ex”, a romantic melodrama blending the singer’s soulful crooning with trap beats that would sound at home on any modern hip hop radio station. He further developed his style with his next big single “BestFriends?” In 2019. Together he has racked up well over 100K streams on Spotify alone.
