Drawing upon the personal experiences of losing childhood friends to violence and incarceration, as well as time spent ‘couch surfing’ through Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and even France, the Rent Money message has garnered attention from niche press outlets including The Huffington Post, XXL and VIBE Magazine.

With the Dave Kutch (Jay-Z – 4:44, The Weeknd – Starboy, Beyoncé – Lemonade) engineered debut single “Hold On” featuring Toronto songwriter and producer Yonatan Watts, and an as yet untitled EP, the rent money is obviously due.
