Born Gerrell Gaddis, Rell is a R&B singer and songwriter from Bowman, South Carolina. In 1997 he became the first male R&B singer to sign to Jay-Z, Dame Dash and Kareem “Biggs” Burke’s label Roc-A-Fella Records.
His time at the label was troubled, with his debut album The Remedy being shelved multiple times. It was never released. His discography thus consists of a handful of solo tracks and features on the projects of fellow Roc-A-Fella artists.
