Formerly known as Raybaboon, Rei Brown released his debut EP, ‘raybaboon’ in February 2014.
After an almost 3-year hiatus, in October 2016, ‘wont’ was released, under the new name rei brown. Soon after, he collaborated with Tomppabeats, then released his EP ‘Lungs’, in November.
In the following year, he released a few more loose songs, before releasing his mixtape, ‘Vetiver’ exclusively on Bandcamp in September 2017. In 2018, he released the singles ‘Chaplan Candy’, and ‘Real Love’ for his double EP, ‘Lovers I’ and ‘Lovers II’. He also collaborated on a song with childhood friend, Joji, under the alias of ‘Green Echo’. The song released was called ‘Once In A While’.
