Red C was a short-lived Washington, D.C. hardcore band whose lone demo recording was immortalized as part of the Flex Your Head compilation, released in 1982.
Drummer Tomas Squip went on to be the lead singer of Beefeater, and later Fidelity Jones, while guitarist Pete Murray went on to co-found the band Artificial Peace (who also appear on Flex Your Head), a band which quickly evolved into Marginal Man not long after Flex Your Head was released. Vocalist Eric Lagdameo joined Double-O.
Bassist Toni Young later played with the band Dove, and was captured making a guest vocal appearance on Minor Threat’s live home video release. She died of pneumonia in the late 1980’s.
Red C's first song Jimi 45 released on Thu Jan 01 1970.
