Recondite is the alias of Lorenz Brunner, a Bavarian (Germany) techno producer.
Recondite says the rural area in which he grew up, before moving to Berlin in 2009, Nature and his life experiences, are a direct influence to his work.
Recondite has a very unique sound, that could be categorized between Acid Techno, Deep Ambient House and Minimalistic Techno.
The low BPM and the melancholic melodies are some of the aspects that make his style distinguishable.

Recondite started gaining more international
attention from the techno world when he released On Acid in 2012.
One year later, he releases Hinterland, an album that puts him on another level, turning him to a worldwide known and recognized producer.

Recondite describes himself as “introvert, deep and profound”.
Although Brunner is a techno producer, he categorizes some songs from rappers like Dr. Dre and the iconic rap group Wu-Tang Clan as part of his favourite tracks list.
