Anderson Bedasi, born on the 14th of October works as an independent artist emerging from the streets of Trinidad and Tobago in New York City. He is known by the masses by his stage name ‘Rebel Muzik. This unique name came into existence after his friends used to call him a 'rebel’ that fit perfectly with being a rebel in music.

Rebel Muzik started picking up on music in 2012, later that same year around November he was quick to come out with his first song. He has expertise around EDM, Pop fusion, Soca, and Dancehall. Rebel describes his music to be emotional, inspirational, and energetic. He wants his music to have a deeper meaning, lyrics that people can connect to while simultaneously creating a cheerful aura and a vibe.

Every artist goes through a creative process, Rebel likes to elude himself from the world by zoning out to some weird music or sound. He sometimes likes to tune in some classic songs to draw inspiration and lets the creative juices flow through a process of mindfulness.

Rebel Muzik didn’t have it easy in his early years, he started as a DJ in his teens for various family events and parties. He got his first gig in a small bar in NYC in 2004, a club promoter heard him DJ-ing one night and reached out to book him for his event. This is where his confidence boosted to embark on his musical journey we now know as his come-up story.

Rebel shared a special bond with his father, he has always been inspired by him for as long as he can remember. He aims to make him proud every step of the way in his musical journey!
