Jalen Taheen Foster (born February 4, 1997), professionally known as Real Boston Richey is an up-and-coming American rapper hailing from Tallahassee, Florida.
Despite never releasing music, Boston Richey signed to the prominent Atlanta rapper Future’s record label Freebandz in 2021. Following his signing, his first single, “Bullseye” was released in November 2021. Off the back of the release, Boston Richey began to gain traction in the Florida music scene.
In 2022, Richey released an array of singles beginning with “Keep Dissing” and “Everybody.” This was soon followed by “Certified Dripper” which would later receive a remix featuring Memphis' Moneybagg Yo. Gaining major prominence in the rap industry, Richey garnered a feature from Chicago’s Lil Durk who appeared on “Keep Dissing 2.”
In August 2022, Boston Richey released his debut mixtape. Public Housing which debuted at #60 on the Billboard 200. The mixtape was released with features from some of the industry’s most recognizable artists including Future and Kodak Black. Months later, in January 2023, Boston Richey released Public Housing, pt 2.
