Nigerian born Raymond Komba, professionally known as “Ray Keys”, was musically affected by Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre, and Ryan Leslie. Through strategic guidance he grew to not only revere music as his safe place, but realized his purpose in life was to impact the people that have the propensity to do good and become positive role models. He would excel in that stance and secure himself in the music industry by partnering with mega producer Bongo and become one half of By The Way Productions – which derived from their dream, build and prosper motto.
Raymond’s dexterity to play 3 musical instruments – piano, drums and guitar- has allowed him to express himself in ways towards artists that creates a vibe outside of music to see where they are in life; therefore allowing the music and chemistry to flow together and make hit songs. His technique has garnered his production ingenuity with requests from world renowned chart topping American artist such as YBN Cordae, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, #1 Nigerian singer Davido, Indonesian superstar Agnez Mo and more!
Although he strongly believes various cultures are primarily shaped, transformed and/or controlled by music, e.g. fashion, art, dance, lifestyle, jargon, etc. – music also has the accomplished duty of bringing people from different countries and nations together.
