Ravi Woods is an American rapper and songwriter who is known for blending his West Coast sound over aggressive trap beats, resulting in a unique, one of a kind style of Rap. Woods was born and raised in La Puente, CA, a city on the outskirts of Los Angeles. He is a second generation Asian Pacific Islander whose parents migrated from the Koronivia village in the Fiji Islands. Woods is no stranger to hard work and the belief that everyone should be able to chase their dreams. “Hip-Hop and Rap has always been part of who I am, and being an artist who is able to create music that connects people and offers them a temporary escape from everyday life has always been my passion,” states Woods.
His debut EP, released May 17, 2020, showcases a combination of druggy lyrics, gangsterish rhymes, and catchy trap sounds featuring collaborations with Multi-Platinum Producers NickEbeats, DJ Flippp and North Carolina rapper RonSoCold. Woods worked with Indus Street Entertainment Double-Platinum Producer Nik Kill Rock and Khalid Smoov to craft his unique sound at Melrose Records in Raleigh Studios, Hollywood, CA.
