Raphael Lam, known by his artist name “raph” (Formerly known as “RAFA”) is a Singer-Songwriter, Producer, and Guitarist. He began his career as a producer and songwriter, releasing songs featuring other artists as the main vocalists, with songs like “catching feelings,” which features Thomas Ng, and his highest streamed song to date, “HOPELESS” which features kameko.

His first official release including his own vocals came in 2022, with the release of “summer,” in collaboration with EJEAN.

On September 1st, 2023, RAFA rebranded to “raph,” along with the single “ificouldbelikeu” which was his first song with him as the sole vocalist. Between 2023 and 2024, raph would release the singles “homesick,” “alright,” “fomo,” “and demons” and announced that these singles would be apart of his first project.

On June 21st, 2024, raph concluded his project’s rollout with the song “reminders,” and categorized the latter singles into his debut EP titled “PRETENDER.”
