The Qwellers are a South African Hip-Hop group, made up of 10 members, who are all solo artists outside of the group. All but one of them emerged from Kwazulu-Natal. In an interview with Slikour, Lowfeye explains the group started in 2020, with the original members being himself, LaCabra and GVNT, and between 2020 and 2023 they added 7 new members. They collectively describe the group as a movement and a brotherhood working together to pioneer SA Hip-Hop.

Having moved to Newtown in Johannesburg in November 2023, the Qwellers released their first group EP, Supa Bhexeza, in December 2023. In 2024, they got their big break when they performed alongside Sjava on the track Typhoon, from Sjava’s 2024 deluxe edition of Isibuko.
