Born on April 14, 1989 in Taichung City, Taiwan as Sheng Yi Chiu (邱勝翊), Prince is a singer, actor, songwriter, television presenter, and dancer who debuted in the entertainment industry in 2006, as a member of the boy group Lollipop after auditioning to be in the group via a talent program – the group members would later also debut as actors in 2007.

Chiu would leave Lollipop in 2009, after graduating from the talent program the group appeared on, and he and another former Lollipop member – Liao Xiao Jie – decided to form another group alongside Mo Di (Chiu’s brother) titled JPM. The group made their debut in 2011 in Taiwan, and would later re-release their debut song in Japanese for the Japanese market.

In 2017, Prince would make his debut as a solo artist with the song “愛正在發生 (Love Is Happening)”, which would be part of the original soundtrack to the drama 稍息立正我愛你 (Attention, Love), which he starred as the male lead. Later that year, he released his debut single ATTENTION!.
