About PyRexx

PyRexx (Joseph McSweeny), born in Houston, TX, developed a life of crime at a very early age. At age 16, he was already involved in street gangs and later served 18 months in the penitentiary. When he was released in 2005, he joined Trae tha Truth’s rap group ABN. PyRexx later departed from the group after releasing his song I’m Back which caused problems between him and Trae. After his departure, PyRexx formed his own movement called the ThoroughBreadz (a.k.a TBZ or TBZ Gang) went back and forth from different jails until Christian rapper Tre9 came to visit him in prison as a voluntary Chaplain. Tre9 eventually helped PyRexx rededicate himself to God. PyRexx continued his rapping career and was featured on Tre9’s Teach Me Your Ways. Later, PyRexx was signed to Rapture Records and went on to release his mixtape #Workflo: Vol. 1 and his studio album Born Again Disciple.
