PT Walkley has made a career for himself by being a composer for film, television, and commercials. He has worked on movies such as Wilde Wedding, Looking for Kitty, The Groomsmen, Purple Violets, and Nice Guy Johnny. He has also worked on advertising campaigns for big brand names such as MasterCard, General Electric, Mercedes-Benz, Starbucks, and Macy’s.

Walkley has several solo folk rock albums under his belt while simultaneously working for the film industry. His first album Mr. Macy Wakes Alone debuted in 2009 and featured artists such as Sean Lennon, guitarist Larry Campbell, and string arranger David Campbell. All of his work show Walkley’s ability to blend style and genre while also appropriately using an orchestral score. As a full-time composer, touring would be “virtually impossible,” as his website states, but he has been able to open for Coldplay and Weezer with his band.
