Prep (Battle Rapper)

Brandon Chambers, better known as Prep, is an American battle rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. Known for his sharp writing ability and even sharper sense of style, Prep started his battling career on the Maryland-based Pit Fights battle league in 2013. His performances in that league led to him entering URL’s Proving Grounds in 2014, where he competed in the third and final season of Ultimate Freestyle Friday, a collaborative event between URL and BET’s 106 & Park, in the same year.

Aside from competing on smaller leagues, Prep has primarily competed on URL and Gates of the Garden over the course of his career. From 2013 to 2021, Prep was also a primary member of the battle rap crew The Loudboys, which counts Dre Dennis, Holmzie Da God, Trub Deuce, Bonus, Floss Da Boss, J Krooger, Bill Collector, and Prez Mafia, Kyd Slade, Chuck Book, and Bandit Montana among its members.
