About Prefuse 73

Prefuse 73 (real name Scott Herren) is a producer from Georgia, USA. He has worked with the likes of Aesop Rock, MF DOOM, The Flaming Lips, Wu-Tang Clan and El-P.

Although initially a hip hop producer, Herren is perhaps best known for his contributions to glitch music, with his early 2000s albums Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives and One Word Extinguisher. He has also dabbled in electronica and psychedelia, having been formerly signed to renowned indie experimental label Warp Records.

Herren is part of the groups Savath y Savalas, Risil, Diamond Watch Wrists and Sons Of The Morning, and Fudge. He also did a 2017 album with two other artists by the name of RE-FAURÉ.
