Pomrad is the stage name of Antwerp-born Adriaan Van de Velde. Van de Velde released his first EP “Vlotjes” in 2012. The album received 4 Redbull Electropdia Award nominations the same year, among them Best Album, Artist of The Year and Breakthrough of The Year. A second EP “This Day” followed in 2013.

Pomrad released his first full length album “Knights” in 2016 via the labels On and On and Jakarta. The album featured vocals by Selah Sue, Billie and Steve Kashala among others.

Pomrad is know for his groovy electro beats which are heavily influenced by the 80’s and 90’s funk sound. He has performed on the Belgian festivals Pukkelpop and Dour multiple times.
