Polvo was an American Indie Noise Rock group formed in 1990 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The original members were Ash Bowie and Dave Brylawski (vocals/guitar), Steve Popson (bass) and Eddie Watkins (drums), who had later been replaced with Brian Quast. The word “polvo” translates to “dust” in Spanish, and “octopus” in Portuguese. The word is also a slang word for sex in Spain.
