About Polaris At Noon

Polaris At Noon was a one-man-band from Orange County, CA conceived in January 2008 by Jason Suwito after he realised his back catalogue of songs was piling up.

The project’s first album Season One: The Prospect, released in 2008, was a result of Suwito writting, recording, producing, and performing on his own on songs that ranged from rock, to pop, to piano ballads, and electronic. The lead single “Wasteland” was featured on Cartoon Network’s Unnatural History TV show.

Jason was preparing Season Two throughout 2010, with “Time” being the lead single into the cancelled record, as Polaris At Noon were shaping their new sound touring in the west coast. “Time” was featured on MTV’s The City and WWE’s Slammy Awards 2010.

2011 started with “Red” dropping as a lead-up to the En Pointe EP, coming with a more mature and electronic sound that molded the project’s reputation.

Polaris At Noon dissolved in 2012 after the release of Prey & Predator EP, Suwito would then become part of the popular music group Sir Sly.
