Poem is a four-piece progressive rock / metal band from Athens, Greece that formed in 2006. The lineup has gone through several changes since that time, with vocalists Giorgos Prokopiou the only current member, and the band’s sound has similarly changed with the lineups.

The band released their debut album The Great Secret Show in 2008 to rave reviews and interest from record companies. The band has shared the stage with acts such as Ozzy Osbourne, Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Paradise Lost, Burst and Leprous.

In 2016 the band released their second album Skein Syndrome and to support the album they toured as the opening act for Amorphis on their European tour.

Their thrid album Unique was released in 2018.
