About Plumtree

Plumtree was a Canadian all-female indie rock-pop band from 1993, formed by Carla Gillis, Lynette Gillis, Amanda Braden and Nina Martin. Martin was replaced by Catriona Sturton in 1995. The band released three full length albums, a six track EP, and various other singles, as well as numerous tours in Canada and the US. The band disbanded in June of 2000.

Plumtree is most notorious for their single ‘Scott Pilgrim’, which was used as the name of inspiration by Bryan Lee O'Malley for the protagonist of his graphic novel series of the same title.
