Ibn Young aka Playa Fly aka Lil Fly was born on September 2, 1977 in Memphis, TN. He grew up near the intersection of South Parkway and Victor Street. Fly’s “SPV Click” was named after these streets [SPV = South Parkway & Victor]. He started his music career at age 16 and eventually became affiliated with DJ Paul and Juicy J. Fly was a member of Three 6 Mafia, but stopped collaborating with them in 1995. He pursued a solo career and released three albums with Super Sigg Records. After leaving Super Sigg, Fly created his own label named after his grandmother, Minnie Mae Muzik aka The Minnie Mae Mafia.
