Born Max Törngren in Phoenix, AZ, PhoenixGold has proven himself to be a versatile artist for his young age at just 20. Growing up in Gothenburg, Sweden, Phoenix launched his career self-producing songs by himself or with friends of his at 14, but didn’t start taking music, nor rapping seriously ‘til the age of 16, citing some of his biggest musical influences as Logic, Kendrick Lamar, Michael Jackson, Denzel Curry, Quadeca and The Weeknd.

Being influenced by hiphop, R&B and synthwave, Phoenix hasn’t shied away from bringing up mature and vulnerable topics when it’s necessary, while simultaneously showing off a more fun, aggressive and ignorant side in his music. Phoenix has also made several collaborations with the likes of buller, Hugo E-mad and LKN.
