Peter Hollens is an Oregan-based American entrepreneur, pop singer, producer, and YouTuber. He began his YouTube channel in 2011, uploading a capella covers and mashups. He uploads new singing videos to Youtube and streaming platforms every other week, and has amassed more than 2.6 million subscribers.
He has been involved with a cappella music since 1999 when he co-founded the University of Oregon’s male a cappella group On The Rocks. In 2010 he and the group were featured on NBC’s The Sing Off season 2.
Hollens has released several a capella albums as well, some of which are compilations of his previously released YouTube covers, and others which are concept albums.
Hollens also consults many of his fellow peers and advises companies including Patreon, Loudr, Tubular and is on the YouTube creator advisory board.
