The Peerless Quartet was an American vocal group that recorded in the early years of the 20th century.
They began recording for Columbia Records where they were known as the Columbia Quartet or Columbia Male Quartet. From 1907, they took on the name Peerless Quartet as they began to record for other labels.
The group were one of the most successful groups of the acoustic era and made hundreds of recordings.
The quartet saw many different members over the years and continued to record until 1928 when it was quietly disbanded.
