About Patty Donahue

Patty Donahue (b. 1956; d. 1996) is best known for her deadpan vocals, which she showcased as the lead singer of the ‘80s New Wave group The Waitresses.

She left the group in 1984 and went on to collaborate with Alice Cooper, then work for ABC and MCA Records. She died of lung cancer in December 1996.
