About Pat the Bunny

Patrick Schneeweis, better known by his stage name Pat the Bunny, is a retired folk punk musician who recorded songs about alcohol, drugs and just about anything else in an anarchist’s range.

Me and some of my friends were making patches for my hardcore punk band and one of them makes this patch and she looks at me and says “I’m gonna give you this patch, but before I do, you have to promise to wear it all the time.” I said, “Alright, I’ll do it.” She gave me a patch that said “Pat the Bunny.” On my punk hoodie from then on, I was always wearing this patch because I promised to do it. And over time, that just became my “punk name.”

Pat has also released music as Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, Wingnut Dishwashers Union, Ramshackle Glory, among others.
