Long time musician David Speck is no stranger to sound nor walking the fringe. As of late, his monomaniacal vehicle for music, Part Time, has given birth to a steady stream of pop ballads prompting me to believe he has found the formula for quik-whiz. David’s thick sheets of soft-focus synth gauze wrap themselves around the listener, making those born in the late 70s and early 80s reminisce on what it must have sounded like to experience the pop music of that time from the cochlea of the womb. One thing is certain, the genesis for his creations appears to be Full-Time, which can only mean one thing for us, more Part Time.
