Parks and Recreation is a mockumentary TV show (similar to the style of The Office) about Leslie Knope (played by Amy Poehler), a cheery, low-level parks and rec worker who’s trying to build a park, yet encounters red tape and bureaucracy at every turn.
It lasted for seven seasons and aired from April 2009 to February 2015.
