Paris Texas is a Los Angeles-based hip-hop and rock duo comprised of rappers Louie Pastel and Felix. The duo’s first songs can be traced back to an October 2018 mixtape titled i’ll get my revenge in hell.

However, the duo really began to garner an underground buzz with their May 2021 debut project BOY ANONYMOUS. Its catchy, but lyrically clever singles “HEAVY METAL" and “FORCE OF HABIT” put them on many listener’s radars.

The following October 2021 EP Red Hand Akimbo can be considered the duo’s breakout project. Though short, its singles “BULLSEYE” and “girls like drugs” garnered even more buzz around the group by cementing the iconic rock-rap sound they’re known for today.

From that point, the duo went quiet for the most part until July 2023 when they finally dropped their long-awaited debut album MID AIR. It notably featured mutli-genre talents Kenny Mason and Teezo Touchdown among its 16-track run. The project is Paris Texas' most ambitious yet, leaning fully into its rock influences in songs like “Lana Del Rey” while refining the eccentric wordplay found in more hip-hop focused tracks like “NüWhip.”
