Pariisin Kevät is a Finnish indie-pop band that was formed in 2007. The band was founded by singer-songwriter Arto Tuunela, under the pseudonym Arthur Tunes, previously known for his work with the band Major Label. The project gained wider recognition with their debut album “Meteoriitti” in 2008, which brought them the Emma Award for Newcomer of the Year.
The breakout hit “Tämän kylän poikii” from the album “Astronautti” (2010) propelled the band into the forefront of Finnish music in the 2010s, establishing them as one of the brightest and interesting Finnish acts. The band’s music blends pop, rock, and electronic elements, creating a distinctive sound that appeals to a broad audience.
