Pamela Yvonne Tillis was born July 24, 1957 in Plant City, Florida to country music singer-songwriter Mel Tillis and his wife Doris. Pam, a 5'6" singer-songwriter, now resides in Nashville. She is twice divorced, having been married to Rick Mason in 1978 with whom she had her son, Ben Asher Mason. She then married songwriter Bob DiPiero in 1991 and the couple divorced in 1998. Pam has five siblings. Mel “Sonny” Tillis, Carrie April Tillis, Connie, Cindy, and Hannah Tillis. Besides being a singer-songwriter, she is also an actress, having appeared in The Thing Called Love and The Goree Girls. Ms. Pam is known for hits such as “Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life”), “Maybe It Was Memphis” and “Shake the Sugar Tree”.
