Ukrainian band “OY Sound System” (also shortened to OYSS) was founded in Kyiv by vocalist Marko Halanevych from Dakha Brakha and electronic musician Taras Halanevych (Galatar). Later singer Victoria Rodko joined the band. The group’s genre of music uses various styles ranging from bass, dub and world music to electronic rock and reggae. Known for their participation in the Ukrainian National Selection (Vidbir) for Eurovision 2023.
