About OT9 Beno

Brooklyn born drill phenomenon, OT9 Beno is the newest breakout star off Fivio Foreign’s 800 Foreignside / 8FS and seems poised to show the world why. Hailing from 90s East Flatbush, Beno comes from the stomping grounds of prominent GS9 rappers Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel. Influenced by the Woo /Drill scene, Beno explains his upbringing as rough but feels he was molded by the streets.

Beno’s top single include “Hunnit crips, Hunnit Bloods hitting 60k views on YouTube and garnering him respect from the industry heavy hitters. Beno’s sound is compared to Tupac, Pop Smoke, Stack Bundles with his deep voice that instantly ignites the party. Some of his influences are Jay z, Notorious BIG, Tupac, TLC, Onix, Wu Tang and directly inspired by FIVIO FOREIGN, Pop Smoke, Meek, NBA young boy, Dababy and 42dugg.

He describes his sound as authentic, witty but dead ass serious as he doesn’t hold back to captivate an audience. Although rooted in the Hip Hop scene, Beno is extremely versatile with his voice and has experimented with rock n roll, pop, edm, Hard rock and heavy Metal. Beno is undoubtedly making a statement in today’s saturated NY drill scene and shows why he can contend with the heavy hitters for years to come.
