Orion is a Rhode Island-based synthpop duo consisting of Orion Dommisse and John-Paul Sullivan. The group formed in 2019 and signed to independent label Italians Do It Better, working with label head Johnny Jewel to help write and produce their music. Dommisse describes Orion as “cybernetic disco synthwave sci-fi noir music”.

The duo released their debut single “Time for Crime” on May 31, 2019, which would later be released as free downloadable content for the music video game Rock Band 4, as well as included on the soundtrack for the video games Audica and Fuser. Dommisse has worked as an audio QA for video game company Harmonix, who developed all three games.
